Birds may shed light on industrial air pollution.

While birds are habitually taking dirt bath, can we exploit this habit to model past and future industrial air pollution? An interesting study recently published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America shed light on these aspects. Scientists exploited bird specimen in estimating the atmospheric carbon over a century back and projected this as a maker of progression in air pollution.
